Rio +20 Global Sustainability Summit

ORC’s Senior Sustainability Researcher, Laurence Smith, will be representing us at Rio +20 next week, thanks to financial support from the Transatlantic Partnership. Laurence has a busy week working with our College of the Atlantic and IFOAM colleagues. His schedule includes attendance at the CGIAR Agriculture and Rural Development Day, at which priorities for the development of more sustainable production systems will be set out, and lobbying at the Farmers Major Group Meetings throughout the week.
