IOTA Agro-forestry Workshop

The Institute of Organic Training and Advice is running a one day workshop hyperlink to event details on agro-forestry for advisers, trainers, researchers, and others interested in providing advice and development of agro-forestry systems for farmers and growers. The workshop will be held on 20 September 2012 at Stephen Briggs’ Whitehall Farm, Peterborough (which features a commercial organic apple/cereal agro-forestry system).

The workshop will draw on Stephen’s unique experiences from his recently-completed Nuffield Scholarship studying agro-forestry across the world including China, USA and Europe. Speakers will also include Dr Jo Smith (Senior Agroecology Researcher, Organic Research Centre) and Mark Measures (IOTA Director). Keywords: IOTA Eco-Agroforestry Training Advice
