POULTRY RESEARCH


Salary: £18,000 – £22,000 (and pension entitlements).

Berkshire based.


The Organic Research Centre Elm Farm is seeking to appoint a Poultry Researcher to work within an established organic poultry research programme. The post holder will be responsible for a wide range of poultry activities, including field, laboratory and desk based work

The candidate will be educated to at least degree level in a biological, environmental or agricultural science and have experience working with livestock (in particular poultry). The candidate should also have good IT and communication skills and have an interest in the environment and organic farming. The candidate must also enjoy working in an outdoor environment and possess a full UK driving licence. Being a ‘team player’ is essential, as is the ability to work within an environment where priorities and workloads can change rapidly.
