Curious about people, permaculture and poultry? Join ORFC in the Field this May for two days of workshops, farm immersion and community connection at 80-acre permaculture farm Henbant, North Wales

There’s something for everyone at the next ORFC In the Field event. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of Snowdonia, the team at Henbant work with nature to build community, incomes, biodiversity and real, delicious food. With workshops led by some of the UK’s leading practitioners, you can expect to get stuck into:

• The UK Permaculture movement
• Farm tour including agroforestry systems, forest school and agriwilding
• Session on heritage poultry
• Learning how to apply permaculture design to livestock systems
• Biofermentation workshop
• Early morning bird-walk
• Traditional crafting
• Fireside storytelling
• Soul-nourishing meals with the ORFC community (including pizza night!)

To make this event as accessible as possible, ORFC are offering a limited number of subsidised tickets for students; young people (under 25); BPOC; part-time, low-waged, and/or unpaid workers; new entrant farmers; and anyone otherwise unable to attend.
