The Organic Growers Gathering 2026

Event Date : September 26, 2026 - September 27, 2026

Event Location : Sandy Lane Farm, Sandy Lane, Tiddington, Thame, OX9 2LA

The Organic Growers Gathering 2026 will be hosted by the inspiring Sandy Lane Farm in Oxfordshire.

The Organic Growers Gathering is organised by growers for growers. From small scale fruit, vegetable, herb and flower growers to land workers, crafters and purveyors of folk music. Whether you’re a master of the soil or a new entrant gaining experience seeding your ideas, there is something here for everyone.

We gather to network, skill share, build community, discover and learn. Expect lots of practical sessions, workshops, break out spaces for skill sharing and networking. As well as organic vegan food, live music, sauna and wellbeing.

Although smaller than usual, expect the usual OGG vibes all though Saturday 26th including talks, workshops, communal local organic food, live bands and 3 fantastic tours on the 27th of Sandy Lane Farm.

Sandy Lane Farm is a 100-acre farm just outside Oxford. “We primarily produce organic veg using field scale, no dig market gardening and protected cropping. We also incorporate low intensity livestock with laying hens, sheep and pigs as part of a mixed farming system.

“We have very sandy soil and no abundant, free water source, so our growing strategies are grounded in moisture preservation and crop diversity.

“All our produce is sold direct through a veg box scheme, farm shop and to Oxford institutions through OxFarmtoFork.”

We’ll be running three farm tours:

• Field scale production (crops, rotation, fertility, machinery and making compost)

• Market garden production (crops, rotation, no dig, polytunnels, caterpillar tunnels and rainwater harvesting)

• Running a successful box scheme on limited budget and space (pack shed layout, data streamlining, packing speed & accuracy, optimising delivery resources and increasing customer spend).
