Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, Bradwell Grove, Burford, Oxfordshire OX18 4JP. 03 March 2016 10:00 – 03 March 2016 14:30

A workshop, run by the Soil Association, for arable farmers considering going organic, and wishing to find out more about organic production techniques and market opportunities currently available in the UK.

The UK needs to produce more organic cereals for the growing feed market for organic poultry, meat and milk. Designed for arable farmers considering going organic, this event will provide practical information and advice on the principles of organic farming, how to convert your farm as well as information on how you can benefit from organic grants and market opportunities for your business.

At this workshop we will hear from organic advisers, organic arable farmers, supply chain and business advisors seeking to develop UK organic cereal supply. Information on the profitability of organic arable production will also be provided.
