Two West Berkshire businesses offer event

Event Date : June 15, 2012

Two West Berkshire businesses pool their resources to offer one-off summer networking event.

Rosemary & Thyme Catering and the Organic Research Centre’s Elm Farm Conference Venue are combining their resources to host a summer networking event on Friday June 15th, from midday until 2.30pm at the Organic Research Centre, Elm Farm, Hamstead Marshall RG20 0HR.

Rosemary Weech, director of Rosemary & Thyme Catering explained more about the venture; “We are keen to promote our healthy business lunches, which don’t have to be boring. Businesses spend a lot of time keeping their finances healthy, a few subtle changes to the menu may make all the difference to that Board Room lunch or those training course refreshments and will not only help your staff to be healthier but may also help to alleviate that all too familiar afternoon slump.”

Being held in the convivial surroundings of the recently refurbished Elm Farm 18th century barn, the informal session will allow guests to sample some of Rosemary & Thyme’s new, healthy options (there will also be some naughty but nice cakes available!). With ample space for up to 50 people seated or a 100 for a buffet style function, the venue offers the ideal conference facilities just 15 minutes from the centre of Newbury or Hungerford.

Anyone interested in attending or wanting more information should email rosemary.weech@btconnect.com or call her 01635 551008 or contactGillian Woodward.

In addition there will be information about the new Eat Out, Eat Well scheme being promoted by West Berkshire council and Liz Chandler from Natures Corner will be on hand to offer nutrition and supplement advice.
