Planet/Life Innovation in Practice: Connecting People, Places and Organic Systems to Build Shared Success

Event Date : September 23, 2026

Event Time : 10:30 am - 12:00 am

Event Location : Online

How can innovation help build organic food systems that are not only more sustainable, but also more resilient, collaborative and economically viable?

Join the WINN-ORGANIC webinar to explore how life- and planet-centred innovation can help turn new ideas, technologies and collaborative approaches into practical solutions for the organic sector. WINN-ORGANIC is a Horizon Europe project working to strengthen innovation across Europe’s organic food systems through Organic Food Innovation Hubs (OFIHs) in seven countries. These hubs bring together producers, researchers, businesses, policymakers and civil society to co-create, test and support the uptake of sustainable solutions for the organic fruit, vegetable and dairy sectors.

What to expect

The webinar will explore how systemic, life- and planet-centred innovation can strengthen organic food systems through collaboration, practical solutions and shared learning.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • discover the WINN-ORGANIC approach to systemic organic innovation;
  • explore practical examples from Organic Food Innovation Hubs and related European initiatives;
  • learn how collaborative approaches can support the development and uptake of sustainable solutions;
  • connect with actors working across Europe to strengthen organic food systems;
  • take part in the official launch of the WINN-ORGANIC Community of Practice.

The Community of Practice will bring together stakeholders from across the organic sector to exchange knowledge, share experiences, learn from real-world practice and help shape the future of systemic organic innovation.

Who should join?

The webinar is particularly relevant for organic farmers and producers, food processors, agri-food SMEs, entrepreneurs and innovators, advisors and practitioners, researchers, innovation networks and policymakers interested in practical and collaborative approaches to organic innovation.

Participation is free – registration required.
