The OrganicAdviceNetwork project is led by IFOAM Organics Europe and was started in 2024 in order to create the first Europe-wide network for organic advisors to service the need for more, better connected and skilled organic advisors.
Cross Visits consist of a cross-border exchange with advisors from the same agricultural sector. They are organised over 2-3 days in different European countries and provide unique opportunities for new and experienced advisors to gain insights into innovative organic farming practices and to meet, exchange ideas and learn from peers.
16 cross visits are being organised in 2026, covering five agricultural sectors: arable production, ruminant husbandry, vegetable production, fruit production and viticulture. Many of the visits are open for registation with others listed with topics, approximate dates and locations. You can register to get updates about a specific cross visit with the “Join for updates” button.
They are open to advisors from the UK, though you will need to cover your costs. Get planning your trips now!
