There was little of worthy interest for organic farmers at the recent research and development conference of the Home Grown Cereals Authority (HGCA). This should have been a key gathering of arable minds to discuss true sustainability for UK crop production. It should have had organic systems at its heart. Instead organic farming received barely a mention. Why?
