It’s that time of year again! The #AgroforestryOpenWeekend! Over 15-18th May, farmers already practicing agroforestry will be opening their gates for everyone to see and ask questions. Agroforestry is a hugely important land use option, providing multiple on and off farm benefits, as well as resilience to climate shocks. Get inspired and go ask questions from your local agroforestry farm.
It’s a great opportunity for other farmers, campaigners, politicians, environmentalists and anyone else interested to have a look at agroforestry in action!
In 2021 there were 6 farms participating; in 2025 there were 50, across the UK, Ireland and beyond.
Each of those farms was open and welcoming visitors for some part of the weekend.
