Farm of the Future Women’s Day

The Farm of the Future Women’s Day will focus on soil health, regenerative farming and well-being.

The free event, being delivered by Innovation for Agriculture (IfA) as part of The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) Farm of the Future series of events, will be held at FarmED – a regenerative mixed farm run by a female led workforce. Throughout the day there will be a focus on regenerative farming practices, farming with nature and self-care.  

Itinerary:

  • Farm walk and demo of regenerative practice  
  • Seasonal lunch 
  • Guest speaker – Abi Reader, dairy farmer and NFU Cymru deputy president   
  • Mindful session – quick trials of mindfulness activities like meditation, yoga or nature journalling (exact activities TBC)

School-age children are invited to a farm school session which will run alongside the main event and an inclusive lunch for all.
