Groundswell 2019

Event Date : June 26, 2019

to 27 June 2019

Lannock Manor Farm, Hertfordshire, UK. Conservation Agriculture. Practical ideas on how to farm in the new environmental and political climate whilst regenerating your core asset – the soil.

We have a great line-up in the Agricology Discussion Tent with informal sessions across both days. We’ll be sharing knowledge and innovative insights into agroecology in practice from farmers and researchers round the strawbales. Join us on day one as we delve into what Integrated Pest Management really means, share top tips on finding alternative markets for cereals and pulses, explore practical ideas on non-chemical weed management practices and hear the latest on agroforestry best practice. On Day two we’ll be getting the inside track on low input livestock and sainfoin, understanding cover crops and herbal leys, and getting more ideas on alternative weed management and agroforestry
