Nourish Conference 2014

Nourish Scotland‘s annual conference, entitled ‘Our Common Wealth of Food’. It will take place on 16th and 17th of October in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, with an evening event at the Old Fruitmarket.

This year’s Nourish conference will hear first-hand what climate change, GMO crops, land grabs, and globalisation mean for farmers in India, Malawi, and the Caribbean; as well as the commonalities of their experiences with Scottish producers.

Speakers include, Professor Pete Smith (University of Aberdeen), Dr Terri Ballard (FAO), Dr Tara Garnett (Food Climate Research Network), Jamie Livingstone (Oxfam Scotland), and many more. For a full list and short biographies, please see the website.
