PROSOIL/ SOLID workshop/ farm walk

11am – 2 pm

Come and take part in this farm walk focussing on soil management, and considering some problem soils. Have your say in developing an organic/low input farm research project as part of the EU SOLID dairy project.

Find out more about the PROSOIL project running in Wales with Heather McCalman, soil specialist, IBERS Grassland Development Centre.

Bring along a spadeful of soil and any recent soil analyses you have, to help kickstart our discussions.

Directions: Penrhiw Farm, Goodwick, Fishguard, Pembs., SA64 OHS. From Fishguard follow the signpost for the Ferry Terminal at Goodwick passing petrol garage and Tesco on LHS .Go over the first roundabout and take the left hand turn at wall. Take immediate right (after 20 yards) up New Hill towards Harbour Village. At the top of the hill take a left turn following sign for Burial Chamber, continue on towards farmyard.
