FUN FOR THE CHILDREN!

There’s something for everyone at Elm Farm Summer Festival on Saturday 9th July in Hamstead Marshall. From 11 am – 5pm with the focus on organic and local produce there will be food stalls, food demos and workshops, lots to eat and drink, a craft fair and villlage fete. Entrance £2.50 per adult, children under 16 free.

There are activities for the children to discover where food comes from and what’s good to eat. As well as the chance to get close to nature, to join in the bug hunt starting at 2pm and see how many different bugs can be found on the farm trail. Meet the animals in the mini-farm and say hello to a llama named Bruce and Dave, the donkey who is also a tv star. There’s something funny about Mavis the cow – come along and find out for yourself why Mavis is unusual.

The afternoon is rounded off when the village party gets into full swing from 5pm -10 pm with bar, live music, and hog roast.
