Danish Parliamentary Committee visits ORC

In September we had a visit from the Danish Parliament’s Committee on the Environment and Food. The Committee was visiting England to study the English approach to issues such as agriculture, water framework directive, biodiversity, forestry as well as coastal management and visited Southern England to see different projects in practice. They asked to visit us as they have a special interest in the effect of agriculture on the environment, biodiversity and forestry. ORC director Nic Lampkin gave them an overview of ORC and then Jo Smith talked specifically about our agroforestry work and took them to see our silvo-pastoral agroforestry trials.
