As part of the ReForest Toolbox, ORC in collaboration with the University of Reading, have developed an online version of the Public Goods (PG) Tool with more applicability to agroforestry systems. This version of the tool is built upon previous work in the SustainFARM project, updating the questions to include additional details on agroforestry inputs, outputs, and costings to provide users and researchers with clearer sustainability analysis for agroforestry systems.

Like the base version of the online PG Tool, the ReForest PG Tool is completely free and open source, allowing anyone to access and assess their own farms or utilise the tool to collect data for their needs. Easy to understand scores at the end provide an overview of how sustainable a particular system is in qualities such as Soil Management, NPK Budget, Agricultural Systems Diversity, and more. This version also brings in a Governance tab to capture more nuanced social sustainability aspects to the farming system.
