The Organic Conversion Information Service – have your say

Defra has embarked on a consultation process to assess the future of the Organic Conversion Information Service – OCIS. As demand grows for home-produced organic food, rather than imports, the role of OCIS looks more important than ever.

A recent review concluded that OCIS should remain a free service, that it should be run as a separate service given the detailed and specific nature of conversion advice, and that it should remain a national service and not be regionalised.

Do you agree? Defra needs your views by 3rd July 2006
