Alternative approaches for livestock health

Participate in Whole Health Agriculture’s 2020 survey and prize draw

The voice of farmers is rarely represented in farming and food research. From experience, we know that livestock farmers around the country use a variety of non-conventional, health-promoting, traditional and innovative practices on their farm and for their farm animals to keep antibiotics and toxic chemicals as much as possible out of the food chain whilst producing delicious and nutritious food.

Whole Health Agriculture have designed a survey aimed at investigating and understanding ANY form of alternative or non-conventional methods, products or approaches for livestock health (e.g. Uddermint for mastitis, fermented grains, probiotics, herbal leys, Obsalim etc.).

The survey is hosted on the WHAg website https://wholehealthag.org/survey/where you can do it online or download it with the option of emailing it back or posting it.

.

The average time it takes to complete the survey is just under half an hour, so stick the kettle on (or open a beer) – it’s not a quickie – BUT – our Guinea Pig Pilot Panel assures us that it will hold your attention and you will find it interesting. Not only that but you will be helping other farmers by sharing your knowledge and – hopefully – giving us information that will show the potential of alternative approaches to clean up the food chain and the land.

As a reward for completion you will be given a copy of the final report but as an additional THANK YOU, you will also have a chance to win one of 3 PRIZES of £250 for an investment that benefits your health or that of your animals. (eg a workshop, an event, plants, a range of products, etc). Draw to take place July 31st 2020.

So, please, tell us your story; have your say – we want farmers to be heard.
