Farmer bursary for European Agroforestry Conference

The 5th European Agroforestry Conference (EURAF 2020): Agroforestry for the transition towards sustainability and bioeconomy will take place in Nuoro, Sardinia (Italy), from the 18th to the 20th of May 2020.

As in previous years, the Farm Woodland Forum will provide support for up to two Irish/UK farmers to attend the conference. Please note that the farmer bursaries are not open to previous recipients. The bursary will cover the registration fee (€300) and £200 (or equivalent in Euros) towards receipted travel and accommodation. If you are a farmer and you are interested in attending the conference, please send an e-mail to Jo Smith by Friday 13th December outlining your interest in agroforestry and your willingness to write an article for the Farm Woodland Forum and EURAF website.

EURAF 2020 is promoted by EURAF, the European Agroforestry Federation in collaboration with several Italian and local partners. This event will provide an important opportunity to exchange scientific ideas and results on agroforestry and discuss new and emerging directions in research and practice in the sector.

EURAF 2020 call for abstracts is now open!

The deadline for abstracts submission is on the 15th of December 2019. For more detailed information, please visit the conference website www.euraf2020.eu
