Emergent Generation Field Trip: The Apricot Centre & Martin Crawford’s Forest Garden

Event Date : July 19, 2025

Event Time : 9:45 am - 4:00 pm

Event Location : Apricot Centre - Huxhams Cross Farm, Dartington, Totnes TQ9 6AA

Join the Emergent Generation for a rare double-visit to two pioneering projects in regenerative practice. There’ll be a tour of the Apricot Centre’s biodynamic farm to experience the deep connection between land, food, and wellbeing. Then deepen your understanding of agroforestry with a guided walk through Martin Crawford’s legendary Forest Garden.

Emergent Generation events are designed to bring together young farmers, growers, land stewards, policymakers, retailers, and anyone passionate or involved in farming and food systems, agroecology, and regeneration across the UK. It’s about sharing knowledge, building community, and growing resilience.

Emergent Generation events are usually subsidised for members (18-35 years) – it’s free to become a member here.

If you are over 35 and wish to join in, then they often have a small number of supporter places available, charged at full price to pay forward.
