The Land Skills Fair

Event Date : July 21, 2022 - July 24, 2022

Event Location : Abbey Home Farm, Cirencester

The Land Skills Fair is a three day festival all about learning, movement building and revelry. Hosted by the Landworkers’ Alliance, it’s a chance to connect  with each other through workshops, talks and activities, and celebrate the movement with live music, dancing, performance and organic local food!

The Land Skills Fair is a celebratory and welcoming space for anyone wanting to learn or share practical skills ranging from forestry to horticulture, woodland crafts to fibrework. Alongside two days of practical learning workshops, there will be a range of academic talks, seminars and discussions on issues relating to food sovereignty, climate justice and movement building. Co-learning and diversity lie at the heart of this festival, and it aims to create a space where the experiences and wisdom of a mix of ages, cultures and backgrounds can come together.

There’ll also be a packed programme of live music and DJs, with plenty of space for artists, storytelling and a good stomp. Not to mention a range of delicious local food vendors and a huge community feast.
