Rebalancing the market or hitting the buffers?

The UK is currently approximately 30% self sufficient in terms of organic animal feed, the same percentage for food security before World War II led to UK food shortages. US demand for organic
animal feed spreading into Europe, historically lower Eastern European prices ending with improved standards, investment and adherence. We need the UK Organic food chain stakeholders to
work together to increase conversion rates, share risk and reward through the value chain to develop resilient supply chains to continue to grow the UK organic market.
