Feed The Soil appeal: There is still time to have your donation doubled and help combat soil degradation in the UK

A huge thank you to all of you that have supported our Feed The Soil appeal this week, as part of the Big Give Green Match Fund campaign that ends midday this Thursday 25th April!

Feed the Soil with the BigGive 18th-25th April

Please help us reach our £100,000 target. We have raised just under £8,000 which means there is still money in the matched funding pot so if you are quick, you can take advantage of your donation being doubled before the campaign ends at midday on Thursday 25th

Your donations will be used to fund the Feed the Soil project, to explore organic composting methods to restore soil health in response to the alarming rate of soil degradation in the UK. A robust comparison of different composting methods and application will be undertaken, so that clear guidance for farmers can be developed.

This project has the potential to reduce reliance on synthetic crop inputs, improve soil microbial diversity and function, sequester carbon, increase soil resilience to drought and flooding, reduce pollution of waterways, and increase nutrient density of plants.
