The 2013 ORC Producer Conference will provide in-depth coverage of the most important issues facing farmers and growers today. The full programme is now published and bookings are being taken.
As ever it is a packed programme with 20 workshops covering all enterprises and related subjects. The opening plenary will feature producers and a retailer who will bring a positive message about the benefits of the organic approach. Highlights of the workshop programme include innovative tools for growers, organic breeding issues in cereal and vegetables, a strong focus on grassland systems, and sustainability issues. This theme continues into the closing plenary which will look at food security and sustainable intensification.
