Evaluation of the EU legislation on organic farming

The final report of the Evaluation of the EU legislation on organic farming has been published by the EC. The project was financed by the European Commission, and was carried out by the Thünen-Institute (Germany) in cooperation with ORC, FiBL (Switzerland), Oréade Brèche (France) and the
Institute for European Environmental Policy (UK). ORC led on three evaluation questions related to the scope, production rules and simplification as well as developing an effect model of the Regulation. ORC also carried out data collection in the UK and contributed to the overall reporting of the project to the EU Commission.
