Where do you get your advice from?

John Pawsey answers that question in this great article from Direct Driller magazine. He outlines his journey ‘weaning ourselves off chemicals’ converting to organic farming. He says that the Organic Conversion Information Service (OCIS) came to the rescue: “It was an excellent service.”

“EFRC/ ORC was the greatest source of advice in my early days. Pretty much all of the stuff that gets re-researched today has already been done by the ORC and partners. Nothing is new.”

He gives a few examples including intercropping, multi-species leys, reduced tillage and championing participatory research.

John also gives a shout out to Agricology: “another excellent source of advice.”
