There is growing evidence in Europe and further afield that whilst direct human health effects remain unproven, new questions are arising over the wider biological impacts of GMOs. So says GENET, the European NGO network on genetic engineering in which EFRC is a partner.GENET has commissioned two French scientists to analyse statistical data on a new Monsanto GM maize variety which had EU experts arguing over its safety results.
